The purpose of this document is to inform individuals (visitors and registered users) about how the operator of the “REPAW PET” website handles the personal data provided by individuals. Why do we process personal data on our website?

 

The personal data of visitors are processed for the purpose of operating the website (the technical side is related to the operation of some cookies), and with the appropriate consent, which is also the legal basis for the processing of all other personal data of visitors, the personal data are processed for the purpose of improving the visitor’s experience of the website, as we use cookies to track the habits of visitors to our website, we try to suggest products and services to visitors that are of interest to them.

 

How long does the controller keep the data?

 

In accordance with the law, the Data Controller retains the personal data collected only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or further processed.

 

What rights does a person have in relation to the processing of personal data?

 

According to the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1), the visitor has certain rights in relation to the processing of personal data. These rights are defined in more detail in Part III of the mentioned Act. In the spirit of corporate transparency, we inform visitors and registered users of these rights and undertake to be available to persons who have questions or requests regarding their rights via the above contact information, and we will respond to requests and questions as quickly as possible and, of course, within the legal deadlines.

    • that I can at any time request the controller to grant me access to my personal data and to the data that the controller processes in relation to me (right to inspect the data and right of access to the data);

    • that I can request the controller to process my data only to a limited extent if I contest the inaccuracy of the data or if the data processing is unlawful and I object to the erasure of the data or if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of the processing and I need the data for legal matters or if I object (right to restriction of processing);
    • that I can request the controller to transfer my personal data to me or to transfer it to another controller (right to data portability);

    • that I can object to the controller to the processing of my personal data, whereupon the website will stop processing my data if there are no overriding legitimate interests in the processing that outweigh my interests (right to object).

The controller informs you that we will do everything in our power to help you as an individual to exercise your rights, which you can exercise through questions, requests and other communications via our contact details listed at the beginning of this document.
